Although, by not using toxic substances, adverse effects are not frequent, physical therapy can cause some inconveniences such as inflammations, effusions, coagulation problems or infections. In general, if we talk about manipulation therapies, its application should be avoided in patients with fractures, osteoporosis or rheumatoid arthritis, among other conditions.
